Eligibility
Who is eligible to register for this event?
Registration is open to everyone. You do not need to be part of SILAMBU families to participate.
What is the cost to attend?
It is FREE event, registration required as attendee.

What is the last day to register?
The performance registration is closed on April 14th.
But you can register as attendee, attendee form is open now.
Can I add more people to our performance after registering?
You may make adjustments to your team when the event coordinator contacts you regarding audio-visual (AV) needs. However, if your team falls below 4 people at that stage, the performance will be canceled.
When will we know if our performance is accepted?
After April 14th, a link to submit your Audio-Visual (AV) materials will be sent to those whose performances are accepted.
Performances
Can I perform solo?
Only group performances with 4 or more participants are permitted. Solo acts are not allowed.
How many performances can an individual (ADULT) participate?
An adult may participate in only one group performance.
Can we use non-Tamil songs for our performance?
Since SILAMBU is celebrating the Tamil Month of Chithirai, only Tamil songs are allowed for performances. However, individuals can perform on stage if the accompanying AV content is in Tamil.
My child’s teacher wants a class performance AND my child is in a group performance with friends. Is that okay?
- We encourage our teachers to coordinate a class performance.
- To give a fair chance to kids, they can also perform in ONE other event coordinated by parents (or parents’ friends) – we will allow it.
- Important It is expected for parents to be aligned with the teacher and coordinate the rehearsals, costumes, makeup, etc., such that there are NO conflicts between those two performances.
- CSK Committee will NOT entertain schedule changes post-release.
This exception is strictly ONLY for SILAMBU Students, to allow them to perform with their friends outside the SILAMBU school.
Food and Beverages
Can we bring our own food?
Yes, outside food is allowed. However, as the event is on school grounds, regular school rules regarding restricted items apply. Please eat only in the cafeteria, which is separate from the performance hall. No food or drinks (including liquids) are allowed inside the auditorium.
Are there any important things to note?
The CSK-25 Committee reserves the right to cancel a performance if AV materials are not received by April 31st or due to other policy changes.
